If Death Note Happened In Pakistan

You've heard of the anime (takes place in Japan). You've heard of the Netflix movie (takes place in Seattle). Now get ready for the blog post where we explore what would happen if Death Note took place in Pakistan.

You know me. I'm Kanra, that one blogger who's obsessed with watching new things and then extrapolating them to see how it would play out if the setting was changed to my own country. So far, the only one I've done is for the Walking Dead and you can check that post out here. I have been considering to do a similar post for Daredevil and maybe the Avengers, but for now, let's settle with Death Note.

How To Write A Good Romantic Ship ft Signal (2016)

Just the other day, I was browsing through Pinterest and I found a post about how to write a good romantic couple. You can find the original pin here. I took the time to go find the original post as well so I could share it with you guys. Titled "Writing a Relationship Your Readers Will Ship", it was filled with the usual tips, but one of them really stood out to me.
Step Two: Slow burn ships are fantastic.
Don’t make your characters fall in love right off the bat. There can be attraction, of course, but genuine feelings of true love don’t happen instantly. Your characters should become closer as people, feel at ease around each other, and truly know the other before they fall head-over-heels. The readers will crave the relationship far more, like dangling a treat right in front of a dog’s nose, but keep pulling it away. Teasing is a beautiful thing.
Okay now hold up here. When you reach the end of this post, you would be like "But Kanra, this tip says slow burn, but this ship you're talking about isn't slow burn at all-" well shush. Look at the lines I underlined. That's the only part I want to talk about. You can make your readers ship a thing so much if you dangle the ship in the middle of the air, no resolution, no conclusion, so near and yet so far.

Get ready to hear about Signal.

The Mr Men and Little Miss Character Tag

Mr. Men and Little Miss series, created by Roger Hargreaves and adapted into a blogger tag by Wonderfully Bookish is today's post of the day. You may have heard of this tag before- it's a fairly interesting tag that circulates around the book bloggers community and I'm really excited to get this done- especially with the small twist that has been introduced by the person who tagged me!

I've never read this series but they look super cute! Anyway, let's get started.

My Failed Attempt of Watching Mainstream Anime: Psycho Pass

"Watch this anime" they said. "You'll like it" they said. "Psycho Pass is totally up your alley!"

Spoiler alert: I did watch Psycho Pass, I did not like it, and it may arguable have been my type of genre but that doesn't change the fact that I just didn't like it enough to keep watching and finish. This was supposed to be one of those anime that everyone had glowing reviews about.

A lot of my friends who have pretty good taste in anime had recommended me this series and told me that it would be just right for me, since it's pretty obvious that most of the things I like tend to involve crime and police drama. Psycho Pass is a futuristic crime/police anime which sounds great, but...
